So,is it going to be MicroHoo or Yahcrosoft?
Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 07:38AM Oh come on, You didn't honestly think I was going to let this story pass by without my usual sarcasm? Its just the type of story you wait around for years to hear. Its a bit like the Haley's comet. Its a once in a life time thing. Two of the largest companies on earth (arguably), whose combined wealth is the Gross domestic product of several African Countries, Have decided to come together? or is it Microsoft buying out Yahoo for an unthinkable £22 Billion. whatever it is , it doesn't sound good to me.
Now I don't have a clue what 22 Billion pounds is. You see in my little world 22 billion is just too much to comprehend. Even when I dream of winning the lottery the best I do is 100 million so you can see where I'm coming from. I don't qualify to talk about that sort of money. I will gladly leave it for the smart guys at Deloitte and Touche ,KPMG etc... to work it out.
All I want is an opportunity to SHOUT. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!
Fellow earthlings, Blogger's, Diggers,Stumblers and Entrecarders. Before you Look away from this Journal, take a moment to pause and think about the implications. The most popular Webportal/service is soon going to owned by the richest company on earth which happens to have software rights to almost every computer on earth (pause for reflection).
Conspiracy theorists wake up from your slumber. Microsoft is set to take over the world! Yesterday it was Facebook today Yahoo Tomorrow the world!
Microsoft probably knows more about you than any communist government ever could. Our Computers regularly report back to their servers, they know our friends and our contacts on face book, they will soon have asses to our health records and now they want to turn the world wide web into the World wide blue screen of death.
Its the end of the Web as we know it. Prepare for security popup messages galore, and virus infections that will finally cross the computer to human barrier, Be afraid be very scared. Microsoft is watching you. Microhoo? Microsoft.
Yours Truly Alfred Saforo,
Panicking on behalf of Steve Jobs.
