What Is The Real Value Of Entrecard?

What Is The Value Of a drop?

Entrecard  currently values 1000 credits at $9.50 that would make 1 drop worth1/1000 (9.50)= $0.0095 approximately $0.01. That is a tiny little sum of money. I have seen sites where they pay $0.02-0.05 per visit to any of the sites in their network. Definitely more valuable if you just want the money.

Fortunately, the value of EC goes far beyond money, could this be why the true street value of EC is actually $2.50 per 1000? I find it extremely confusing. Why is it that something that offers such value to blogger's and webmasters is so devalued on the real market?

    Entrecard Only Appeals To Blogger's.

Then it hit me. Of course! Entrecard only appeals to Blogger's/Webmasters, and blogger's and webmasters make up less than 5% of Internet Users although they are probably responsible for 95% of the content.

No wonder when you try and auction your hard earned credits on EBay you end up with a rather disappointing result.

If you are clever enough to try and sell your credits on EBay then you should be clever enough to realise that, outside the Blogosphere, Entrecard is Worthless.

Of course it is. Entrecard is a service for blogger's and Webmasters, not the general populace.

What Is The Value Of An Entrecard Enabled blog?

To an ordinary Internet user, worthless. To a Blogger, priceless.

Entrecard can achieve phenomenal success, far beyond what it is right now, if it can close the gap in the way it's value is perceived.

In The Midst Of Difficulty Lies Opportunity- A. Einstein

I would like to propose a theory for the next phase of Entrecard's development (like  anyone cares). Entrecard 2.0.

Entrecard 2.0 should make it possible for everyone who visits a site to drop a calling card. It should make it possible for non-webmasters and non-blogger's to collect credits when they visit their favourite sites.

If you can imagine what this means and how this could completely transform the Internet. You are like me. A true visionary.

Imagine, Entrecard has the potential to create a whole new web based currency and economy. The financial benefits for Graham Langdon, astronomical! Not even Google would come close. The potential for revenue generation for blogger's/webmasters is mind boggling.

I hope Graham would share in this vision, because i can bet someone is already thinking about it.

There is an opportunity here to raise the value of a drop from $0.01to $10? $20? or maybe even $100 per drop. the Internet will never stop talking about this revolution, and you (Graham Langdon) will thank me with a cool billion dollars for giving you this vision, when you become the worlds first trillionaire. Entrecard would be priceless.

If you believe this share this vision using the " share article " link below. Lets start this revolution now. Amen.

    You have a nice site.

I could find some good content here.

I would like to make you a suggestion. If you can, post a little bit more about:
    1) Free software
    2) Computer Graphics

    Anyway, good work.

    Best regards,

Interesting post. Quite a revolutionary idea. Instead of giving money for traffic, you give credits instead.

For this idea to work, you will need more methods to use the credits instead of just advertising. Dugg and stumbled with a review... :)

Thank you so much. I appreciate that.

I like your idea about Entrecard. It's good to be true that Entrecard is one of the best social community site I ever meet. We can make anything as a member of Entrecard.

I also wondering if anyone can drop the card even he/she is not a member of entrecard. Sure it will bring more benefit to the entrecard members, but maybe entrecard team doesn't find any benefit for the Entrecard site it self :)

I think I'll participate with the events that you post on entrecard forum

lovely site you got here, very nice layout.

are you saying entrecard could be a bit like mybloglog, then?

i also like how sites like entrecard are moving us closer to a true moneyless economy. science fiction in action :)

I had always sensed that there were far more blogs on Entrecard about blogging than anything else. It would be nice, I agree with you, if Entrecard could develop a system to draw in non-bloggers. I like your ideas.

Now, for me, Entrecard do really works to bring traffic to my site. That's priceless! And you have a brilliant vision about the future of Entrecard. And, I'm eagerly to see that EC drop priced $10 per drop...:-)

Entrecard has brought me traffic. I'm not out to make a million. I'm just an old, disabled guy who likes to participate in the blog community, so to me, Entrecard is kind of what keeps me going. I use the credits I get to invite other people to visit my site, and most of my ad activity happens when I come up with a new post.
But if I could use those credits for other things? That would be great. Truly great.
    Thanks for the post.
